Here are tips to burn calories at the mall:

  1. The most common thing to burn the calories in a mall is to not use the valet parking service and park your vehicle a little far away from the mall.
  2. Bring pedometer. With this tool make a personal goal to be achieved. Such as, you create a target of 500 steps, starting from you down from the vehicle.
  3. Increase your target slowly. For the second visit, add your target to be 550, 600 and so on.
  4. While waiting to pay bill, there are little things you can do. Push your stomach muscles to the inside (like taking a deep breath in) and hold for 10 seconds. Do this exercise three times. That way you have trained your buttocks and stomach muscles lightly.
  5. If your shopping just a little, try not to use trolleys when brought into the vehicle. Do not forget to balance your shopping bags so as not only one side of the body that held the load because can cause an injury to your hand, shoulder and neck.
  6. When you want to take the goods at a low shelf, you should squat rather than subdue the body. By doing so, you have to train your calf, thighs, buttocks and stomach muscles.Try to perform this movement at least five times.
  7. When you want to take the goods on a high shelf, then tiptoe and use both hands to grab it. Hold that position within 10 seconds. If you are not confident enough, then pretend as if you are confused in choosing which items you’ll take. Try this exercise at least five times. Tiptoe  movement and hand stretching into the air is good to stretch legs, back and arms. This exercise also improves balance.
